Red wine

Torres Natureo Syrah

This red wine has an alcohol content of 0.0, it’s a ruby red colour and has a rich but slightly sweet taste. It has the complex tannins and flavour of red wine but lacks the bitter aftertaste. I really enjoyed the wine alongside some pasta dishes. It’s only 25 calories per glass so it’s well worth a try!

Rose wine

Belle & Co Sparkling Rosé

This delicious Belle & Co rosé is crafted using sparkling grape juice and tea infusions giving a balanced texture thats refreshing and crisp. I really enjoyed this rosé it was fruity and sweet without being sickly. This one comes in a beautiful bottle so would make a great gift! It would also be a great addition to a fruity mocktail recipe and it’s low in calories at only 28 calories per 125ml.

Black Tower Deliciously Light Low Alcohol Rosé

Black Tower are a well known wine brand who have turned their knowledge into creating a delicious range of alcohol free wines. I love rosé and really enjoyed this one, it was fruity with flavours of blackberry and strawberry. Its a great wine to bring along to special occasions and get togethers.

White wine

Ebony Vale Chardonnay 0.05%

This Ebony Vale Chardonnay is a crisp and refreshing with fruity flavours of pears and apple with a hint of vanilla. This wine tasted the most similar to an alcoholic chardonnay. They use grapes that are harvested early to ensure lower sugar levels to reduce the potential alcohol. I really enjoyed this wine and it tasted great served along side chicken and fish dishes.

La Gioiosa Sparkling Wine 0.0%

This La Gioiosa sparkling wine was lovely, we enjoyed this at the weekend with a great pasta dish. It was very crisp and refreshing, it’s made with 100% Glera grapes with gentle aromas of pears and white flowers. At only 22 calories per 100ml this is a perfect guilt free treat.

The wines don’t taste like the alcohol we know but still have a great flavour, I found the white wines tasted most similar to alcoholic wines. It’s a good idea to try a few different flavours and brands so you can find a favourite.

The wines are all a lot lower calories than the alcoholic versions and won’t leave you with a nasty hangover. If you also like beer then check out my post on 6 alcohol free beers to try.
