About Me

Welcome to Enjoy the Adventure my name is Jess Munday. I created this blog to inspire people to travel more and go on as many adventures as possible! I work full time and try to fit in as much travel as possible whether its a long haul flight or a local weekend away. I’ve spent 4 months interning in Austria, feeling like I was in the sound of music frolicking around the hills overlooking the beautiful mountains and lakes. I then spent 3 months solo travelling around South East Asia. Relaxing on tropical beaches, eating as much Thai food as possible and trekking in Northern Vietnam. I’d recommend everyone try travelling solo at least once, you can meet so many new people and go wherever you want to. I grew up in Surrey and now live in London so I try and explore as much of the UK and Europe as possible.

My Travel Style

I love staying in a variety of places from unique and stylish hotels in the city to cute and cosy cottages in the countryside. Normally I travel with my boyfriend, friends or family but I occasionally travel solo. I appreciate beautiful architecture, rooftop views, delicious food and a good gin and tonic! My aim is to see as much of the world as possible and experience many new things.

Join me on my adventures!

We like to travel also. I have a childhood friend who lives in London. When we went to Europe on a tour, we went five days earlier to London. My friend and her husband drove us around. I surely would like to visit England again.

Thanks, Jess, for reading “Zumba”. While I may not be as well-travelled, in my work I teach Swiss, German, Brazilian, Chinese, Taiwanese, and Japanese students. Additionally, I am docent schoolmarm (check out “Old Sac” on my blog) at an 1880s replica one-room schoolhouse where I have met visitors from all parts of the globe. In conversation, I feel like I have been to their respective countries!

You went and done it. You went and followed Uncle Bardie’s Stories & Such. You are now one of Uncle Bardie’s Band of Merry Followers. Just so you know, Uncle Bardie’s a hoot, and he’s got quite a few whoppers in his bag of stories. Some funny, some not so funny. But all told for your entertainment. Thank you for following his blog.

Dear Jess, I have been remiss in not letting you know that I have nominated you for a Real Neat Blog Award. I apologize, and here is the link https://koolkosherkitchen.wordpress.com/2016/10/11/more-awards-and-a-dinner/ You are not in any way obligated to accept, and I fully understand that not everyone has the time and inclination to participate in these self-and-others-promoting exercises. Therefore, I will truly appreciate if you accept the nomination, as I sincerely think you deserve it, but I won’t get offended if you don’t. Nominating each one of you is my way of giving credit to some exceptional bloggers and perhaps attracting attention to your work.
    All the best,
    Dolly

Hello Jess, Firstly thanks for visiting my blog. I come from England and will know all the places you visit. The Cotswolds is lovely and of course, if you have not already been to York, The York Museum is a must. I moved to Crete some 15 years ago and while I love it here I do miss the lovely trees especially in the Autumn. I will follow your blog. Happy Xmas and good luck in your adventures. I shall look forward to reading all about them.

Thanks for liking one of my posts, thereby enabling me to discover your blog! It’s always nice to come across another blogger who’s keen to explore more of their home country – Liverpool is my neck of the woods, and one of my favourite cities in the UK (not biased at all…). York is really picturesque too (and Harrogate, which isn’t far away, is equally worth a visit). Happy travelling!
