Zoo Nights this Summer at London Zoo

I love London Zoo and this Summer you can visit Zoo Nights throughout June and July. At Zoo Nights you can enjoy an array of street food from the many food trucks or try a cocktail or beer from one of the watering holes. There’s also live music and a chill out zone with entertainment throughout the evening.

London Zoo Nights Review

We started off our evening with a visit to the Magnum stand where they were giving away their new ice creams, cookies and cream and their vegan one, the cookies and cream one was delish! Magnum have a limited number of these available each day.

We then had a wander around the zoo seeing the Penguins swimming around, getting up close to a Giraffe and seeing the magnificent Lions.

Throughout the evening there are plenty of animal talks that you can go and visit. Sam and I saw one about Meerkats and Armadillos which was really cute and you get to learn more about the animals.

There’s even a crazy golf course you can try, the 9 hole course was a lot of fun and not too busy. Sam beat me so I need to practice ready for when we come back next year! We ran out of time to go to the Whale Walk Through. Spaces for this are limited and they have a board for performance times. In this walk through you will explore the tale of sea creatures and their battle to survive in polluted oceans.

We ended the evening with a drink and some halloumi fries from the food trucks. The trucks were selling loads of different dishes such as hot dogs, Korean fried chicken, waffles, Duck wraps, soulvaki and some veggie dishes. I could have stayed and eaten this food all night!

A couple of the areas close early so the animals can get some sleep so make sure you visit these first if you arrive at 6pm.
