  • Life Lately – Exploring London – Food, Drink & Events

February 11, 2018 / Comments Off on Life Lately – Exploring London – Food, Drink & Events

Here’s a round up of what I got up to in January featuring restaurants and blogger events: Rucoletta  Sam and I visited this cosy Italian restaurant near St Paul’s Cathedral because we bought a Groupon voucher for a three course set meal for 2 people for £20 – such a bargain! I’d definitely recommend this restaurant, the waiters are welcoming and friendly. The Strozzapreti pasta dish was incredible, it comes with pancetta, tomatoes and chilli so it has a bit of a kick to it, but it’s not too spicy. I also really liked the Bruschetta and the Tiramisu. Location: 6 Foster Ln, London EC2V 6HH Cocktails at the First Dates Restaurant –…

  • Cranes Cider Refreshingly Fruity – Review

September 14, 2017 / Comments Off on Cranes Cider Refreshingly Fruity – Review

I absolutely love cider I always have it in pubs or at bbqs, it’s a fantastic drink to have in the summer. I have been trying out Cranes 3 different flavours, Cranberry & Lime, Blueberry & Apple and Raspberry & Pomegranate. How Cranes Cider Started? The brand Cranes was developed by identical twin brothers Ben and Dan. At University they enjoyed socialising and drinking but wanted to find a drink that wasn’t full of sugar but still tasted…

  • Secret Food Tours Berlin

    August 8, 2017 / 5 Comments

The best way to explore the history, culture and food across Berlin is with a food tour! Secret Food Tours have a range of tours across Europe and the USA. Including tours in Paris, Barcelona, Rome, New York and many more. I loved this tour and can’t wait to visit more around the world. This is so much more than a food tour, it’s a chance to learn about the past and present culture of Berlin. Our tour guide Margot was brilliant giving us insider tips and showing us some amazing street art along the way. I can’t spoil the locations of the tour as you’ll have to go experience…

  • Things to do in Milan, Italy

    September 18, 2016 / 22 Comments

If you’re into shopping then I would recommend Milan its the global capital of fashion and design. Milan is also ideal if you fancy splurging or going on a romantic getaway as it has many high end shops and restaurants. Here are some things to do in Milan. Milan Cathedral Visit the iconic Duomo Di Milano cathedral. Be aware it does get busy and there are big queues outside. There are lot of tourists taking photos outside the cathedral and there is a ridiculous amount of pigeons as well haha. Galleria vittorio emanuele This shopping centre is right next to the Cathedral and has a mix of high end shops and…

  • Weekend in Zurich, Switzerland

    September 11, 2016 / 20 Comments

I first visited Zurich a few years ago and immediately fell in love with this city so I decided to go back on my backpacking trip around Europe.  Things to do on a weekend in Zurich Grossmünster church For 4 Swiss Francs you can climb to the top of Grossmünster church there are quite a lot of steps and its a tight squeeze if people are going up the stairs as you come down them. Its well worth the climb once you reach the top and see the amazing views of the city. Lindenhof Platz Free viewing platform offering views of the lake and old town, such a beautiful view…
