  • Williamson Tea Selection – Review

    March 4, 2017 / 4 Comments

I love trying new teas so when Williamson Tea sent me a selection of their teas I was very happy to try them all out! Williamson Tea is a fifth generation tea farming business. Williamson tea is committed to growing sustainable high quality tea which benefit Kenya, it’s environment wildlife and communities. All the teas are grown on their own farms so they control the quality of the product from bush to cup. Williamson Tea Review Earl Grey The iconic early grey has a subtle floral aroma and tastes amazing. I also love loose leaf tea bags they seem a bit more luxurious and taste so much better. I will…

  • Taste of Thailand at Thaikhun Guildford, Restaurant Review

    February 23, 2017 / 9 Comments

On Monday I visited the Thaikhun (pronounced tycoon) restaurant in Guildford. They serve Thai street food similar to that from Khao San road in Bangkok. I am a huge fan of Thai food and I absolutely love Thailand. I spent a month travelling around Thailand so stepping into Thaikhun reminded me of the fun I had on my travels. Decor  The decor features rustic wooden floors and walls similar to the restaurants around Thailand. The interior is very eccentric with lots of Thai bric a brac around the room. I like how busy it looks reflecting the streets of Bangkok. Taste of Thailand at the Thaikhun Restaurant Guildford Drinks Me and…

Visiting Bath is like stepping back in time with all its beautiful Georgian architecture. There are plenty of shops, museums and galleries to visit. Here is a list of things to do in Bath. Pulteney Bridge Les Mis was filmed around Bath’s iconic Pulteney Bridge. Royal Crescent  Sally Lunns   This is one of the oldest buildings in Bath serving a variety of sweet and savoury buns and afternoon tea. I had the light breakfast which is a pot of tea and half a bun served with cinnamon butter. The cinnamon butter is seriously amazing! They also have a small museum downstairs where you can purchase a bun to take home.…

  • Farnham Hog’s Back Hotel Spa Day & Afternoon Tea Review

    February 17, 2017 / 6 Comments

Last week I took a trip to Farnham’s Hog Back Hotel for a relaxing spa day, massage and afternoon tea. The beautiful Tudor style hotel & spa is located on the hogs back between Farnham & Guildford. Treatment Upon arrival I was given towels a robe and a locker key. Once in my robe I headed to the treatment room for a hot stone massage. This treatment improves circulation and relaxes the muscles from the heat. This was the first time I’d had a hot stone massage and I really enjoyed it and would get this treatment again. My therapist was great she asked what pressure I wanted and checked…
