NEUÚ Seaweed Skincare Review & Giveaway

Sam has been trying out a brand-new range of naturally sourced, seaweed-based, skincare. NEUÚ Seaweed Skincare is a small Irish company who have developed a skincare line for sensitive skin.

Everyday our skin is exposed to environmental challenges such as pollution, humidity and changes in temperature, this along with stress and a bad diet can cause dehydration and loss of dermal elasticity. This skincare line claims to be able to restore, protect and repair the epidermis by using proven restorative anti-inflammatory and moisture-retaining properties.

NEUÚ developed their products from the in-depth research into the natural marine fatty acids that provide seaweed with such longevity and robustness.  The skincare is not tested on animals and all their products are free from parabens, mineral oils and petrolatums, PEGs, PPGs, MEA, DEA and TEA, phthalates, silicones, and SLES/SLS. 

We were sent four products to try out, the Hydrate Moisturiser, Energise Face Wash, Renew Face Scrub and Invigorate Hair & Body Wash. I’ve also been trying these products out as they have a unisex subtle scent. They are also in the process of creating a range for Women too.

NEUÚ MEN Hydrate Moisturiser, 50ml

To eliminate dry skin, use a small amount in the mornings and evenings. This moisturiser comes with a pump which we always prefer as the tub ones can get bacteria in from putting your fingers in them. The airless pump ensures nutrients are fresh, the nutrients in this help soothe, hydrate and restore elasticity in the skin. The moisturiser has a natural earthy smell to it and it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. We took this on our recent trip to Spain and it’s a great size to travel with.

NEUÚ MEN Invigorate Hair & Body Wash, 200ml

Made with a blend of Marine and Botanical ingredients carefully formulated to remove impurities naturally. Blended with seaweed oil extract, orange peel oil and vitamin C to keep the hair and body refreshed and hydrated. To use apply a small amount to hair and body, work into a lather and then rinse. This has a natural scent and leaves the body and hair feeling really hydrated.

NEUÚ MEN Renew Face Scrub, 100ml

This face scrub is made with protein-rich seaweed particles suspended in a natural cleansing gel packed with antioxidants and marine minerals. The seaweed particles are a natural by-product of seaweed oil extraction process and are a fully biodegradable means of exfoliating skin effectively, sustainably and safely. 

You should use this 2-3 times a week. Using a light circular motion, apply to the face, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. This scrub helped remove dead skin cells making my skin feel really soft and fresh.

NEUÚ MEN Energise Face Wash, 100ml

This face wash combines the purifying and calming properties of seaweed oil extract with the invigorating scent and antiseptic power of grapefruit oil to naturally cleanse and refresh your face, restoring your skin’s natural balance. 

To use, massage a small amount onto damp skin, then rinse with water. We liked the natural scent and how it cleaned our faces without leaving it feeling tight.
