To do
- 6 min walk from Palmasera beach – 2 sunbeds with an umbrella €20 – Palmasera resort has their own sunbeds 3 beaches by centre this one over to right near mini orange bar – middle rockiest – 3rd bear boat tour area and can swim further out before reaching rocks – loads of fish swimming in shallow water (they bite)
- Boat tour €10 for blue grotto and €11 entrance fee €18 blue grotto and Cala Luna + €11 fee
- Cala Fuili beach (43min walk 5 drive) parking along the road (5min walk down from parking) rocky but beautiful don’t need to spend all day there (no bars)
- Cala Luna beach – get there by boat around €8 some bars/cafe there – not much parking
- Beach di Zui Martine 4 min drive 38 min walk – very clear water
- Cala Cartoe sandy beach (quiet) hard to get to in car
- Cala Gabbiani – boats not allowed near 1.45hr
- Su Barone beach – 45min drive
Eating
- Gelateria Fancello – snickers, kinder bueno
- Zio Pedrillo – dinner pizza or pasta and affordable – risotto/ravioli – sausage gnocchi, cuglorrines- tomato pasta filled with pecorino and potato – vegetable risotto with pesto – €35 with beer and lemon soda
- Pizzeria la Poltrona – veggie risotto or pasta/steak – check menu none online
- Nuraghe hotel, where I ate a traditional dish called angellotos (a sort of overstuffed ravioli/dumpling filled with ricotta and fresh mint and covered in a butter-sage sauce) that began to melt as soon as it touched my tongue.
