Easy ways to enjoy your holiday snaps more

Not being able to travel because of lockdown is awful. But, as with all things in life, changes like this do open up the chance for you to do something different. A lot of people have used their time at home to try out some new hobbies, learn new skills and take some time to recharge their batteries a bit. Although it has been a tough year, many people have tried to make the best out of a bad situation.

For example, flicking through photos and sharing memories, especially their travel photographs. If you have been doing the same and would like to find ways to enjoy and make the most of your holiday snaps, read on for ideas on how to do so (and be sure to get some great quality personalised canvas prints from custtom.co.uk/shapes to showcase your best memories).

Put some of your photos up for sale online

If you have some photographs that you do not mind sharing with the world, loading them onto a few stock image sites may be a good option. Of course, the main idea of doing that is that you sell them, which would be great because it gives you the chance to earn a little bit of extra cash. Something many of us could do within the current economic climate. But there is the added advantage that you can go to your portfolio anytime and enjoy flicking through your best travel photographs.

Create an online travelogue

Most of us have not had the time to keep our travel photos and souvenirs organized. We tend to arrive home after a trip intending to put the best shots into an album, along with a few notes and items like ticket stubs, to enjoy looking at later. But somehow we never find the time to do so.

If that is you, take some of the extra time you are spending at home to do it now. Drag those boxes out from under the bed and fire up your storage devices and sort out your best snaps. Then go online and choose a travelogue app and get started. You can find three well-researched options here.

Share more of them

Another approach is to share, or reshare, more of your holiday and travel photos on social media. Friends and family who joined you on your travels will enjoy being reminded of those good times. If you want, you can have a bit of fun and turn a few into light-hearted memes. As you can see from this article it is surprisingly easy to do using free tools like Canva.

Of course, there are lots of ways to enjoy your holiday snaps. But, hopefully, one or two of the ones I have suggested above will be new and interesting to you.
