Positano B&B
B&B positano
Positano is a picture perfect destination, the views here are incredible. These views do come with a high price tag but we managed to find this b&b in Positano for a fraction of the price compared to other accommodation.
This b&b is really high up offering amazing views over Positano. The rooms are also really spacious and have everything you need. There’s a kettle with teas and coffees. A few mini shampoo sachets.
A balcony with incredible views, they also serve breakfast on a terrace so you can look out onto the beautiful pastel houses and beach whilst enjoying breakfast.
For breakfast you can order coffee and then help yourself to the buffet selection. There’s a mixture of everything such as cakes, yoghurts, fruit, boiled egg, pizza and cereal. There’s also a bar and mini supermarket upstairs.
Location
This b&b was a nightmare to get too, we got a ferry from Sorrento so got dropped off at the port. We got a porter to take our luggage to the b&b this cost €10 as we didn’t want to lug this all the way up to the b&b. We then used Apple maps to find the b&b. This took us a really long way round taking 40 minutes to get there and walking up thousands of steps in 30 degree heat wasn’t fun.
Once we arrived they showed us the best way to get to the centre, this ways a lot quicker. It takes around 20-30 minutes but there’s still quite a lot of steps, around 250 of them. It’s fine on the way down but tiring going back up. There’s also a bus stop outside the b&b but buses normally looked super packed every time we saw one go by. I’d highly recommend getting a porter to take your bag to the b&b as there’s so many stairs, if you have the budget get a taxi. There’s also a bus that stops off outside the b&b so if you can hop on that then that will save you a lot of uphill walking. We didn’t get the bus as every time it passed us it was super packed. We did visit in August so if you don’t go at peak season the bus should be less busy.
Price
The b&b is a lot cheaper than others in Positano. It’s still expensive compared to other countries. If you’re on a budget I’d recommend staying here, the main downside of this place is the location but if you were staying in the centre you wouldn’t get the incredible views from the balcony. We also loved walking down to the centre at sunset and managed to get some great photos of the views.
What’s nearby
The b&b itself has a bar and mini shop where you can get ice cream and snacks. There’s also a small supermarket 5-10 min walk down the road, so it’s great to stock up on drinks or snacks here.

If you don’t mind walking or don’t mind getting the bus then this place is worth staying at. The receptionist was friendly and the hotel room had everything we needed. The main thing we loved about it was the amazing views and the breakfast was pretty good too.
