Spice up your lunch with Levi Roots snack pots

Levi Roots is well known for his Reggae Reggae sauces and he’s now launched a range of Caribbean snack pots. These are perfect when you haven’t got enough time for cooking or just want something quick and easy. Ready in minutes these pots are great for lunches and eating on the go.

All you need to do is add hot water to the line and cover back up for 3-5mins and the pots are available in four tasty flavours.

Reggae Reggae Noodles

These noodles have a tangy Caribbean style bbq flavour with a kick of spice. The noodles are quite thin and the sauce isn’t watery like some pot noodles can be. At 324 calories a pot, it’s not too bad compared to a sandwich and crisps and its pretty filling too.

Levi’s Curry Noodles

These noodles tasted great with an aromatic blend of chilli, coriander and turmeric. This one comes in at 308 calories, its warming and filling so it is perfect for an autumn/winter lunch.

Rasta Pasta

I really enjoyed this snack pot, normally pasta pots can be quite plain and watery but this one was very flavoursome. The pasta is quite thin and small but is flavoured with a spicy tomato jerk, chilli combined with pimento, nutmeg and basil gives this pot a lovely flavour. This one is only 260 calories.

Caribbean Coconut Rice

This rice pot was creamy and infused with black pepper and chilli, I thought this one was nice but I preferred the other snack pots as I found this one a bit too spicy for me but I’m such a wimp with spice anyway. This one is low fat and 271 calories.

I really enjoyed trying out these pots and I particularly love the colourful packaging! The pots are a decent size and filled me up for lunch, they are super easy to prepare too. I wouldn’t have these pots every day but they are great for the convenience when you forget to make your lunch for work the night before or are in a rush with meetings all day.
