Celebrating Fantasia at Sounds and Sorcery
A few weeks ago I got to try out Sounds And Sorcery, an immersive Disney Fantasia experience. This is located at the Vaults which is an underground maze of disused railway arches under Waterloo. I love all things Disney and used to watch this movie with my Grandparents so was exited to see what this experience would be like. Upon entering you are given a set of headphones and then you enter a dark room, you each lie down on a sofa and watch visual displays paired with classical music above your head. You are then free to explore at your own pace, walking around the labyrinth of impressive visual installations…

Affordable London Sightseeing with Megabus
I really enjoy exploring London and showing friends and family around, but I rarely go on a sightseeing tour as they can be pretty expensive and it’s not always worth it. That’s until Megabus launched a sightseeing tour with prices starting from just £1! One beautiful sunny evening some bloggers and I got to try out the Megabus London tour, we started off the night with a VIP London eye experience. Where we were treated to a glass of bubbly and gathered around our pod to admire how beautiful London looked below our feet, the views were incredible! We then headed to the London eye bus stop to hop on the…

Yikes Kitchen – London Takeaway
I love a takeaway, it’s the perfect treat after a busy day at work or if you just don’t fancy cooking. Deliveroo and Just Eat offer a huge range of takeaway options in London and one that’s recently been added is Yikes Kitchen. Yikes Kitchen was created by a professionally trained chef who wanted to produce quality food at an affordable price. I was invited to the launch of Yikes Kitchen in Shepherds Bush. They’ve recently opened one in North London too. They’re a delivery service offering quality food for affordable prices. Starter Sweet corn soup £4.00 To start we had sweet corn soup, I’d never tried this before and…

Life Lately – Exploring London – Food, Drink & Events
Here’s a round up of what I got up to in January featuring restaurants and blogger events: Rucoletta Sam and I visited this cosy Italian restaurant near St Paul’s Cathedral because we bought a Groupon voucher for a three course set meal for 2 people for £20 – such a bargain! I’d definitely recommend this restaurant, the waiters are welcoming and friendly. The Strozzapreti pasta dish was incredible, it comes with pancetta, tomatoes and chilli so it has a bit of a kick to it, but it’s not too spicy. I also really liked the Bruschetta and the Tiramisu. Location: 6 Foster Ln, London EC2V 6HH Cocktails at the First Dates Restaurant –…

Hassle free renting in London with Fizzy Living
Ask anyone at Fizzy Living what they aim to do and their answer is simple – they want to reinvent renting. Fizzy offers rental accommodation in London to what are now called ‘rentysomethings’ – young professionals not ready to buy a house but looking to rent somewhere quality for the longer-term. I was shown around some Fizzy flats at Walthamstow and what struck me was the balance Fizzy had achieved between homeliness and modernity. The rooms I viewed were pleasantly spacious, with good-sized lounge, kitchen, bathroom and balcony areas. What also makes Fizzy great for me is that the majority of their flats are also pet-friendly (unlike most landlords I’ve…
