Pho & Bun – Delicious Vietnamese Restaurant in London
When Sam and I were in Berlin, we visited our first Vietnamese restaurant and it was so good that it’s now one of our favourite cuisines. Since moving to London, I’ve been trying to find a good Vietnamese restaurant but so far I have just been to some average ones, that was until I found Pho & Bun in Soho. Pho & Bun Vietnamese Restaurant Review Pho & Bun is a casual cafe style restaurant specialising in traditional noodle soups and filled buns. Sam and I visited on a Thursday evening and the place was packed, so do try and book in advance. We were seated downstairs and given the…

Abd El Wahab Lebanese Restaurant Belgravia
One type of food I don’t have very often is Lebanese, I’ve been to one Lebanese restaurant before and I really enjoyed that so I was excited to hear about a new restaurant launching in Belgravia called Abd El Wahab. They already have some popular branches in the Middle East so I was excited to see what they had on offer. Upon arrival we were given a glass of Prosecco and made our way to the table where Sam and I were sat with some other bloggers. I love the decor of the restaurant, it’s elegant and modern with a unique green nature wall. The Food at Abd El EWahab…

Exploring London South Bank & Oxo Tower Wharf
I recently went on a bloggers day out exploring South Bank and Oxo Tower Wharf. It was the perfect festive day out filled with mulled gin, bauble making and unique design shops. The Tate We started off the day at the Tate and being big kids headed straight to the swings! We then got the lift up to the viewing level to take photos and admire the panoramic views of the London skyline. After this we had a look around the modern and contemporary art work. The Tate’s well worth a visit for the view point especially as entrance is free. The Green Room The Green Room is a diner, bar and…

Giggling Squid Thai Restaurant Review, Guildford
The other week me and Sam went to Giggling Squid in Guildford to try out their evening menu. We arrived at the restaurant and were seated quickly and offered drinks promptly. Sam ordered a Chang which is a popular beer in Thailand and I went for a Merlot red wine. We ordered some prawn crackers as we made our menu choices. You get a large portion and it comes with a sweet chilli sauce which was delicious although I ended up spilling it everywhere. I’m such a messy eater! There’s such a lot of dishes to choose from but I opted for the Sleeping honey duck with orange salad. I asked for…

Arthur Hooper’s Restaurant & Wine Bar London
“Arthur Hooper’s is a stylish restaurant in a vibrant London Bridge neighbourhood, overlooking Borough Market. We infused the spirit of the area’s tradition that allows visitors to easily sample fresh food from local suppliers and wine from all over the world.” Last month I attended the launch day for Arthur Hooper’s Restaurant to try out some of their dishes. The restaurant offers a selection of seasonally inspired small plates, meats and cheeses, perfectly paired with a diverse wine list. Arthur Hooper was an enigmatic fruit and vegetable salesman who once occupied the building. The recently derelict building’s historical ties to the local community and food have now been restored. Food is…

Weekend in Zurich, Switzerland
I first visited Zurich a few years ago and immediately fell in love with this city so I decided to go back on my backpacking trip around Europe. Things to do on a weekend in Zurich Grossmünster church For 4 Swiss Francs you can climb to the top of Grossmünster church there are quite a lot of steps and its a tight squeeze if people are going up the stairs as you come down them. Its well worth the climb once you reach the top and see the amazing views of the city. Lindenhof Platz Free viewing platform offering views of the lake and old town, such a beautiful view…
