Boulders Beach

Robben Island

Once home to the prison where Nelson Mandela was held for the majority of his sentence, this World Heritage site is now home to a Prison Museum. Interestingly, former prisoners provide tours around the museum. They also reveal what life was like to be housed on the island.

Lion’s Head
