Lisbon, Portugal

If you’re considering a city break, Lisbon offers the perfect blend of sightseeing, sunshine and lazy days at the beach. Nestled on the coast, this beautiful, bustling city is just a stone’s throw from golden beaches, making it an idyllic spot to enjoy culture and relaxation. In the city, there’s plenty on offer to keep visitors of all ages entertained, and the narrow streets lined with brightly coloured tiled houses are a sight to behold. Located in a hilly area, walking around Lisbon burns serious calories, as well as treating tourists to incredible views. Highlights for those keen to explore include Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery and Castelo de San Jorge. It’s also well worth taking an afternoon to meander through the winding, labyrinth-like streets of historic Alfama. Nepal
